In a much-anticipated meeting with the NCOC, the education minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the educational institutions, which were earlier closed due to the high positivity rate, would remain shut till April 11 and ninth, matric and intermediate exams would be held as per schedule announced by the boards.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, however, has said that schools should remain open in cities where the situation is under control.
