Pakistan and Turkey have maintained a strong brotherly bond for over decades. Ever since the Turkish drama ‘Dirilis: Ertugrul’ swooped into Pakistan and begun airing on the National TV; the entire nation became fans of not just the show but all the Turkish stars. The strong narrative, brave protagonist, and lavish production value resulted in skyrocketing TRP’s. The roaring success of the magnum opus series has not only strengthened the Pakistan-Turkey relationship but opened doors for various brands and marketing strategists to cash on the Turkish stars.
Resultantly, Pakistan local giants took the initiative of bagging Turks for their campaigns; to name a few, the sensational Ersa Bilgic endorsed QMobile, Khaadi, Jazz Super 4G, and currently represents Peshawar Zalmi as their brand ambassador for PSL-6. The beloved stars Cengiz Coşkun & Nurettin Sönmez are signed up as official ambassadors by J. fragrances. Moreover, the entertainment industry of Pakistan has collaborated in a joint production with Turkey for the biggest ever series ‘Turki Lala’ with Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddique on board as executive producers.
The Pakistan-Turkey collaborations doesn’t seem to slow down anytime soon as currently joint collaborations doors are wide open. Recently fashion designer Maria B. dropped her newest collection that has left everyone gasping for air. Hold on! This is not the usually run of the mill campaign instead, there’s an interesting twist in the tale. Maria B. is the first-ever fashion and lifestyle brand that celebrates the iconic blend of two nations united by culture, faith, and love. The brand roped in two superstars Ayeza Khan from Pakistan and Gülsim Ali, (Dirilis: Ertugrul fame) from Turkey for its upcoming Lawn’21 campaign titled ‘Uniting Cultures’.
Right from the clothes, locations, team, and engaging key influencers from both the countries; the designer gave us a glimpse of the cross-cultural collaboration like never before through their campaign across all mediums. We’ve had a look through and can say that Maria.B. is truly heading towards being recognised as ‘Brand Pakistan’ – have a look

Maria B’s campaigns are famous for their unique designs, pretty pastels, embroidered and embellished lawn with top-of-the-line fabric, breezy silhouettes, intricate & timeless craftsmanship, and a colour palette so appetizing, are some of the MANY reasons to fall head over heels (once again) for her Lawn’21 collection.
Ayeza Khan a Life-Sketch has started her first appearance in a Pakistani TV Drama ‘Tum Jo Miley’ in 2009. She, later on, acted in a limited TV series in which her character was praised by the community.
