About 97 people lost their lives in a Karachi-bound PIA aircraft, which crashed in Karachi’s Model Colony on Friday afternoon minutes before landing.
The first Edhi ambulance reached the site of the PIA plane crash within 10 minutes of the incident and the rescue operations began as soon as possible to save as many people as possible.
Faisal Edhi along with JDC’s Zafar Abbas worked tirelessly to lead the rescue operations at the crash site and people can’t help but thank these heroes:
Prayers for Faisal Edhi, all the volunteer Heroes , rescuers, locals, civil, police and military officials who are tirelessly working to help recover those still alive , helping the injured at hospitals and shifting bodies after #PIAPlaneCrash . We really owe them a lot:
Not the first time organisations like Edhi foundation, Chippa and JDC filled in the void of non existent effective state rescue services.
We owe them so much in-fact never was so much owed by so many to so few. pic.twitter.com/iYmS6yRpQX— Super Maan (@ZameerMaan) May 22, 2020
Like father, like son:
Faisal Edhi was there like his father.

They’re the only ones that keep us going:
Karachi will collapse in 7 days, if the Charity Organization like Edhi, Chippa, Alamgir, JDC and others stop their services.

Angels!
You know the state of city which is a financial hub and a backbone of this country is when the first responders after every tragedy are organisations like Edhi, Chipa and JDC.
Massive respect for them, and screw everyone who ruled this city for no good. pic.twitter.com/mB3Gr2AtgB

People were especially lauding Faisal Edhi for being in the field himself after recovering from Corona:
Faisal Edhi recovered from covid-19 a while ago and is back in the field leading the rescue operation at the crash site. What a man. Following in his father’s footsteps. #Edhi

Sadly true:
Only ones you find helping people in times like these are ppl like Faisal Edhi & Zafar Abbas both of whom belong from a community that's been fighting for it's own ethnic rights since the partition while the champions and so called "stakeholder" of sindh are no where to be seen https://t.co/MRuxFG7JPw
