The new year has ringed in, and with that, there’s a plethora of new music to keep us entertained out there from a range of Pakistani musicians – old and new. From a right mix of ethnic rhythms to brilliant fusions of the east and west, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as the first month of the year comes to its mid-point.
So, what made it to our Jukebox this week? Here’s the lowdown…

Momina Mustehsan and Bilal Saeed both enjoy great popularity, and this duet together has only added to their talent and fame.
Aaja – Abdullah Qureshi
Abdullah Qureshi has made quite a name for himself lately and his new tracks have been doing mighty well!
Aasra – Umer Farooq
The signature music that Umer Farooq is known for returns to the mainstream with Aasra and that’s the reason it’s doing good for itself.
Zindagi Tamasha Bani – Nimra Gillani
Sung for the film Zindagi Tamasha, this OST has all the right tunes to make it to the top list this week!
Boorhay Darakht – The Sketches
The Sketches have made quite a return with their album Saanjhi, and most songs from it have become famous amongst fans.
Dhola Teri Yaad – Sawaal Band
Making the rounds once again, Risham Faiz Bhutta stars in this track by Sawaal Band which has gotten listeners crooning with it!
Youn – Shabbir Ali
Shabbir Ali’s new addition to the pop/EDM scene with Youn has definitely gotten many to notice his work even more!
Darmiyan – Umer Farooq
Umer Farooq seems to have had a strong following this week, and most of his songs have been fan favourites to hear! Darmiyan, then, of course, has been no exception!
