With the corona virus affecting almost everyone around the world, people are concerned for Pakistan. With resources nowhere near the first world countries and a total of only 2000 ventilators, the country cannot afford being affected by corona and Imran Khan is faced with a massive decision to make: lockdown or no lockdown.
With PM Imran Khan trying to make all possible efforts to contain the virus, Fakhr-e-Alam shared a few suggestions that could be kept in consideration when drafting new policies:
Dear honorable PM @ImranKhanPTI sir it is a humble request to you please re consider. A lockdown before it’s too late. This Video is in two parts. I could be wrong & I know you are worried about social unrest but we can end up in a far worse place. #CoronaVirusPakistan pic.twitter.com/Tp8yRkpXAW
— Fakhr-e-Alam (@falamb3) March 20, 2020
Dear honorable PM @ImranKhanPTI here is the remaining part of the message sir. We know you are faced with the most difficult decision of your term but only you can take a decision like this. #CoronaVirusPakistan pic.twitter.com/0WqlB0MP2C
— Fakhr-e-Alam (@falamb3) March 20, 2020
And everyone on twitter is on board with what he had to offer:
Fakhr.e.Alam appeals to PM Imran Khan to completely LOCKDOWN Pakistan for two weeks & he sounds extremely logical!!
Imran Khan has to make a VERY difficult decision: Lockdown or No Lockdown!
Both could have serious repercussions. The Government HAS to chose the lesser evil! https://t.co/ctUSSN7Dga— Ubair Khan (@ubairkhaan) March 20, 2020

Cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was fully on board:
Plzzzz listen to him Mr. Prime Minister. This time the decision you are making is not reversible. You can test 2-weeks lockdown/curfew safely. Only if you are not intentionally doing that, I am afraid.

Agreed. We need to learn from the countries who got affected before. It's a hard decision but we have to do to save lives of many people. https://t.co/Kknoig2TXV

Overseas Pakistanis were also sharing how similar soft curfew had been adopted in their countries:
A very sensible and logical appeal @falamb3 . I’m here in Philadelphia, its evident the lockdown process have been started a lot earlier although here are less cases, major problem is certain parts of the population don’t give enough importance to the severity of this pandemic. https://t.co/nshFosP026
