10 Times Pakistani Celebs Thrilled Us With Their Award Show Performances!

Pakistani award shows happen a dime a dozen, but amidst them all, the most memorable are those that have the highest celeb participation and star factor attached to it! After all, it is the antics of the most loved that the fans are obsessed with and cannot get enough of, be through their red carpet looks or through their performances on the dais.

Lux Style Awards 2007 – Sana, Veena, Nirma, and Resham

The year was 2007, and LSAs were all about getting bigger! Hence, the organisers chose Kuala Lumpur as its venue and had a power-packed lined up all night long. One such performance was the super fun tribute to Naheed Akhtar, which showcased the best stars of that time, which included Sana, Veena, Nirma, and Resham!

 

Lux Style Awards 2011 – Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza

The Lux Style Awards in 2011 were a whirlwind and a lot of different categories dominated each other. However, amongst them all, a calming performance was presented featuring the then-couple Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza, as they gave a tribute to the late singer, Mehnaz Begum.

Hum Style Awards 2016 – Mawra and Urwa Hocane

It was 2016, and both the Hocane sisters were seen on stage together as they danced to various songs, which ranged from Mawra Hocane’s then recently-released film, Sanam Teri Kasam to some thumping Bollywood tunes!

Hum Style Awards 2016 – Ali Zafar and Sohai Ali Abro

Sohai Ali Abro was everywhere during the 2016 award season and at the Hum Style Awards that year, she collaborated with the rockstar, Ali Zafar, as both brought super-duper energy to the stage with their enthralling performances!

 

Lux Style Awards 2016 – Mahira Khan

The superstar of the industry, Mahira Khan chose to light up the stage at the Lux Style Awards in 2016 with her smile, and truly what a moment that was! The Raees actress took to stage and danced the night away on her most popular songs, and there wasn’t one person who didn’t have their eyes glued to the stage during that time!

 

Lux Style Awards 2017 – Reema and Mawra Hocane

2017 was a mix of fun performances and one such example was the coming together of Lollywood and the contemporary Pakistani cinema scene as Mawra Hocane and Reema came together on stage to perform together! Both were a breath of fresh air and it was truly a sight for sore eyes!

Lux Style Awards 2019 – Saba Qamar

The 2019 edition of the Lux Style Awards was one that had it all! Tributes, sizzling performances, and a plethora of stars, the night was truly one to remember. Amidst the most talked-about happenings of the night, was the trio-tribute to Shabnam,  one of which had Saba Qamar dancing to Mera Babu Chail Chabila, and believe us, no one could have done it better!

 

Lux Style Awards 2019 – Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa

Another power-packed performance of the night at the Lux Style Awards in 2019 was when Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa took to stage! Dancing on their much-popular number Munday Lahore De from Load Wedding both were the perfect stars to end the brilliant night of celebration!

 

Hum Style Awards 2020 – Zara Noor Abbas

The recently-held Hum Style Awards 2020 was surely a night of great performances and memorable moments but amidst it, the one performance that had us excited was by Zara Noor Abbas! Dancing to a special song from Deewar-e-Shab, Zara was just phenomenal to watch with her intricate moves and complementing emotions.
